Abstract

本研究通过访谈14 位现任资深独中校长,揭示独中校长与董事的关系模式及其如何经营与董事的关系,供独中办校与办学者参考与审思。本研究归纳分析资深独中校长处理与董事关系的策略可分为“同盟共进”、“依附配合”、“自谋出路”三种类型,并发现董事与校长的关系是一场权力的博弈。

This study is based on interviews with 14 senior principals of Chinese Independent Secondary Schools in Peninsular Malaysia. The principals basically adopt three types of strategies in managing their relations with the school board: alliance, cooperation, and self-reliance. It is found that the relations between the principals and the board of directors are in reality a power game.
