Following the end of World War II, Chinese education in Malaysia experienced a swift revival and dynamic growth, culminating in a complete system spanning primary, secondary, and tertiary levels. This development reflected the Chinese community's strong commitment to mother tongue education. During the postwar reconstruction and localization of the educational system, several Republic of China-era writers and intellectuals migrated to Malaysia and joined the Chinese schools as teachers. Focusing on figures such as Xing Guangsheng, Huang Yifan, Zhang Quan, Xie Bingying, and Su Xuelin, this paper examines their pedagogical practices, cultural transmission efforts, and intellectual contributions before and after Malaya's independence. It analyzes their interactions with local teachers and the influence they had on students and educational values. By investigating the integration of foreign and local educators, this study reveals the formation of early teacher training pathways and the evolving educational philosophies, highlighting the cross-regional flow of knowledge that enriched Malaysian Chinese education and culture.
