Abstract

The history showed that Chinese emigrants during the Qing Dynasty had settled in less developed regions in other countries and had become the founders of these regions. The Chinese Capitan Yap Ah Loy was the founder of Kuala Lumpur is the historical factor. Yap Ah Loy is the common precious historical and cultural heritage of Malaysia's ethnic Chinese and Malay. Cooperation between the ethnic Chinese and Malay is a win-win, otherwise, both would be lost. How to reach a consensus on this point depends on all ethnic groups in Malaysia continuously working together. The ethnic Chinese, on the other hand, can learn more from Yap Ah Loy's case to look forward to other Malaysia's ethnic groups becoming change-minded and open-mind.
