Abstract

本研究以叙事研究为方法,探讨一位马来西亚独中教师在专业成长与身份转化过程中的生命历程。透过讲述与重构其个人教学经验,研究试图呈现教师在不同阶段中所经历的理想与现实之间的拉扯、坚持与反思,以及这些经验如何交织出其对教育的理解与使命感,展现教师从被动执行者转化为主动学习与自我革新的教育行动者的过程。透过个案教师的叙事,不仅揭示独中教师面对体制与文化限制下的能动展现,也为马来西亚教师教育提供了重要的省思路径与启发价值。

This study employs narrative inquiry to explore the life journey of a Malaysia Chinese Independent School teacher, focusing on her professional growth and identity transformation. Through the narration and reconstruction of her personal teaching experiences, the research seeks to reveal the tensions, persistence, and reflections that emerge between ideals and realities at different stages of her career. These experiences collectively shape her understanding of education and sense of mission, illustrating the process through which she evolves from a passive practitioner to an active learner and self-renewing educational agent. Through the teacher’s narrative, this study not only uncovers the agentive expressions of Chinese Independent School teachers within institutional and cultural constraints but also offers valuable insights and reflective pathways for teacher education in Malaysia.
