马来西亚学前教育语文教学的发展现状 The Current Status of Language Teaching in Malaysian Preschool

进入全球化时代,核心素养是个体适应未来社会所需的素养。语文能力的掌握是许多国家发展核心素养的基础。《马来西亚教育蓝图2013-2025》的目标之一为提升学生语文能力,成为多语者。在马来西亚,大部分人在日常生活中会接触到不同的语文,并从学前教育开始学习国语、英语、华语,但最终能精通多语的却只有少数人。本文借由文件分析法探讨马来西亚学前教育语文教学的现况,依据社会的教育发展趋势及学前教育对语文教学提出建议,希望为日后幼儿语文教学的研究提供参考。
In the era of globalisation, developing core competencies is crucial for individuals to adapt to future societies. Proficiency in language skills is fundamental in achieving these competencies in many countries. Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2015 aims to improve students’ language skills, encouraging them to become multilingual. However, despite most Malaysians being exposed to different languages in daily life and starting to learn Malay, English and Mandarin from preschool, only a few are competent in multiple languages. This study uses document analysis to examine the current state of language teaching in Malaysian preschools. It provides suggestions for language teaching based on societal trends and the current situations in preschool. The result of the study aims to serve as a reference for future research in early childhood language education.
